In your spare time....  Okay, when you find a moment of quiet with time to think, it's time for Band and/or Orchestra Teacher of the Year nominations.  This person could be from our district but can also be from a different district.  It cannot be someone who is retiring at the end of this year.  Qualifications include: fundamental musicianship of the highest caliber, service to students, service to the community, service to the profession, and consistency in the above categories for a number of years. 

If you would like to nominate a person and could have someone email to second the nomination, that would be excellent.  I will have a ballet prepared prior to the meeting.  We will also check for nominations at our meeting on May 3 in Ludington before we vote.
